WoW Cooking Recipes - What Level Should You Be to Use Them?

There are tons of WoW cooking recipes that players can use in the game of World of Warcraft. Fish dishes though, are some of the most useful, particularly if your secondary profession is fishing. Also, there are vast supplies of fish in the World of Warcraft so you will not have any problem finding your primary ingredient.

Cooking Skills by Level

There are four general skills of Cooking by level; Apprentice, Journeyman, Expert and Artisan. In Apprentice, the minimum requirement by level is five, while Journeyman requires a character level of at least 10. For Expert, the minimum requirement is 20 and for Artisan, the minimum is 40. Most of the recipes function primarily as healing concoctions for players, particularly those who just came out of a fight and would like to rejoin combat as soon as possible.

Recipe Examples

Some of the easiest WoW cooking recipes to make and find are fish recipes. One can easily find them in any part of the World of Warcraft, even in the Outland. One example of these recipes is the Hot Smoked Bass. The minimum level for this recipe is 35 and it has the ability to restore 874 health within 27 seconds.

Another useful recipe that can be used by players in the Apprentice Cooking level is Rainbow Fin Albacore. This requires a minimum level of 5 and can restore 243 health in 21 seconds. For the Journeyman level, Smoked Sagefish is one recipe that can restore over 370 health within 21 seconds. It also provides 567 Mana. A player who spends 10 seconds eating this dish can gain 3 Mana for every five seconds in a 15-minute period.

For players trained in Expert Cooking, Rockscale Cod recipe is a beneficial one to have. It can restore 840 health and provide 1,260 Mana. For an ingredient checklist, a cook will need one Raw Greater Sagefish and Hot Spices.

Aside from providing healing powers, these WoW cooking recipes can also help a Cook earn some gold. For Cooks who knew how to advertise their wares, tons of gold might just be waiting in the wings and chances of leveling up will definitely be easier.
